Oh my goodness. Another week. I wonder if anyone reads this. I can say
whatever I want. But I won't. Anyway let's start this email.
Monday: Played games at the Kennedy's and went to the Mayberrys for
dinner. Nothing crazy exciting there.
Tuesday: We went on Eldorado and tried a bunch of people. On our way
to another investigators house, Elder Andrus took a wrong turn and had
to turn around, so without thinking, he turns around and doesn't look
behind him and we get hit by the car behind us. First off, I am okay.
I no longer have any injuries except some bruises and my whiplash has
gone down significantly. No one else got hurt as serious as me.
Anyway, Elder Andrus didn't really hurt, he was just bruised. Elder
Smith kinda messed up his shoulder a bit. And I got a bruised rib,
some other bruises and I got some whiplash. I didn't think it was hurt
that bad, so I didn't go to the hospital. After a ride from the police
car to our house, we waited for instructions from our vehicle
coordinator at the library. He told us what to do. So we spent the
rest of the day getting the information. I am now the designated
driver for both areas. Yaaaaaaaay....
Wednesday: We spent most of the day looking for information about the
car wreck. Brother Crawford took me out on exchanges in Foxcroft and
tried to see a bunch of people over there. Unfortunately, it wasn't
successful, then we stayed the night at Foxcroft for the next day.
Thursday: We had Ward correlation. We also washed the car for zone
conference. Saw one less active and went on exchanges with Corey. We
had an awesome lesson with a less active. He is still slowly
progressing, but we are super excited for him.
Friday: We went to Hopkinsville to go to zone conference. I was so
tired the whole day because I had to get up at 4am and drive. It was
bad. We also picked up Paducah Elders and had fun. We had a lot of
trainings. We had the mission nurse check us out and she said we were
fine from the injuries of the accident, so we aren't worried. After it
was over, we stayed two hours because Elder Quiring had to meet with
President Stone. So Elder Ihler and I went to the chapel and sang
hymns at the pulpit. Not gonna lie we sounded great. Then we went to
Paducah, had some dinner, and went home.
Saturday: We had weekly planning and helped Doug move some furniture
into his house. After that, we went to West Frankfort to see a
referral from the relief society president and talked to her for
awhile. Then we went to dinner and tried seeing some other people.
Sunday: Eldorado and I separated to go to our different wards. I was
with Corey pretty much the entire time. It was great because I felt
like I had more of a connection with the members on that day than any
other day. We went and had lunch at Corey's grandmas house. Then we
went with CJ and taught an investigator. We gave him a Book of Mormon.
He is interested about the plan of salvation and we are excited to see
him again. Then we went to the Pollastros and had dinner with them. It
was great.
Please don't freak out everyone about the car accident. I'm fine. I am
looking forward to this next week. Talk you later!

***********A note from Colton's Mission Mom********************
I'm sorry I just saw your email. I thought about telling you when it happened but didn't want to interfere. I promise if he would of been hurt I would of told you. Elder Andrus was driving and did a u turn and a car ran into them. The pain he was describing sounded like a little whiplash. He is not hurt, I promise. Today he said the pain was almost gone. I'm sorry about the way he told you. I can imagine being on your break and getting that news. Corey was in a wreck about a month ago and we took him to the ER. They didn't do anything, we were there 5 min. We did have some muscle relaxant's that we offered too give Elder Craig but he didn't want them. If his pain was too bad I would of made him go to the ER. I told him to tell you all at once not pieces. I cant wait to see the emails we will get from Corey.
